FINE FINISHING
Cabinetry & Trim.
Brushwork on the surfaces hands touch most — kitchen cabinets, frames, sills, doors, and built-ins.
THE WORK
Two finishes, one craft.
Cabinetry and trim ask for a different kind of painting than walls. Brush technique over rollers. Sheen consistency over coverage. Durability on surfaces that get touched, opened, and closed every day.
We work in two materials — standard premium paint for a clean, hard-wearing finish, or hand-applied limewash for a softer, more textural look. Same craft, different result.
WHAT WE COVER
Where it lives.
Trim, frames, and sills — baseboards, crown molding, window casings, door frames. The architectural work that frames the room.
Doors and built-ins — interior doors, closet fronts, library shelving, and bespoke built-ins where the finish needs to read as part of the architecture rather than added on.
THE PROCESS
How we work.
Every project begins with a site visit — looking at the cabinetry or trim in question, its current finish, and what you want it to feel like when we're done.
For kitchens, we typically remove doors and drawers to spray or brush them off-site or in a dust-controlled area, then reinstall once cured. For trim and built-ins, we work in place with careful masking.
We help you choose a color and finish — from a palette you bring, or one we suggest — and apply a sample so you can see it before committing. Most cabinetry projects take three to seven days; trim depends on scope.
